Texas Deserves Better: Why the Establishment Status Quo is Failing Our Families

As Texas faces tightening power margins and water shortages, the political establishment continues to offer empty promises. It is time for a governor who prioritizes Texas families over political convenience.
For too long, Texans have been told that our state’s infrastructure is secure, yet the reality on the ground tells a different story. From the looming threat of energy grid instability to critical water shortages in our coastal regions, the current political establishment has proven itself incapable of proactive, constitutional governance. Instead of prioritizing the safety and prosperity of Texas families, the status quo remains focused on political maneuvering and short-term fixes that leave our state vulnerable. The Constitution Party of Texas believes that government’s primary role is to protect the rights and well-being of its citizens, not to manage a cycle of perpetual crisis. We need leadership that understands the importance of fiscal integrity, judicial restraint, and the foresight to build infrastructure that serves the people, not special interests. Jenn Mack, our endorsed candidate for Governor, has been a consistent voice of reason, urging Texans to prepare for these challenges while demanding accountability from those in power. Her platform is built on the bedrock of Faith, Family, and Freedom—principles that have been abandoned by the career politicians in Austin. We cannot continue to rely on the same failed leadership that has allowed our power grid and water resources to reach a breaking point. It is time to restore the original intent of our government and ensure that Texas interests always come first. The solution is not more of the same; it is a return to the constitutional principles that made this state great.
