Protecting the Texas Grid: Put Families Ahead of Corporate Subsidies

Austin politicians cater to corporate data centers while Texas families face higher utility bills and grid fragility. Jenn Mack offers principled constitutional leadership to secure Texas infrastructure.
As the Texas Legislature convenes interim hearings this month to review state infrastructure, emergency communication, and disaster response, everyday Texans are confronting an unaddressed burden: an electric grid and water supply stretched thin by political favoritism.
Recent reporting across Texas reveals growing voter opposition to corporate mega-developments—specifically massive data center hubs that demand enormous shares of Texas energy and water. Yet instead of safeguarding the private property and resources of our citizens, bipartisan establishment leadership in Austin continues to cater to well-connected corporate entities. In return, Texas families endure skyrocketing utility costs, conservation notices, and the perennial threat of rolling blackouts.
Government does not exist to serve corporate donors or broker backroom deals that jeopardize essential resources. Under our constitutional framework, the primary role of civil government is to protect God-given rights, defend the rule of law, and preserve the public trust. When establishment politicians subsidize and prioritize external conglomerates while ignoring the strain on rural landowners, municipal water basins, and family pocketbooks, they betray that solemn duty.
Texans have had enough of the duopoly's rhetoric. Republicans blame national forces while granting preferential tax deals; Democrats demand federalized energy mandates that further strip our 10th Amendment sovereignty. Neither party demonstrates the constitutional backbone required to declare that Texas families come first.
Jenn Mack, write-in candidate for Governor of Texas, offers a direct and principled remedy. Operating on a steadfast platform of Faith, Family, and Freedom, Jenn Mack insists that digital infrastructure must be developed on Texas terms—never infringing upon the Bill of Rights of 'We the People,' whose rights supersede those of privileged corporations. Under her Texas-first leadership, external companies must carry their own grid and water burden, respect private property rights, and operate transparently without draining Texas reserves.
We do not need to accept an fragile grid or ballooning utility bills as inevitable. Texas voters have a real choice on the ballot this November.
